About this Event

This is Part Two of a two-part series. If you were unable to attend part one, we still encourage you to join us for part two, you will have the opportunity to engage with the content and ask questions.

In Part Two, we turn toward relationship and how healing and resilience are supported not just by self-regulation, but by safe, reciprocal connection. Through various practices, guided reflection, and open dialogue, we’ll explore the power of presence, shared safety, and leading with the nervous system rather than overriding it.

Come as you are - this space invites learning, unlearning, and being human.

Facilitator: Alysha Allen

Alysha has always felt a deep calling to support others in their healing and growth. With a background in Health Sciences and Psychology from Western University and over a decade of experience in wellness, trauma integration, and community programming, her approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and practicality.

Currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Alysha works from a trauma-informed, integrative lens that honours both the nervous system and the human story. She pays particular attention to relational dynamics and the systems we live within—whether family, community, or culture—recognizing that healing occurs through connection.

Whether in individual sessions or group facilitation, Alysha’s focus is to support clients in reconnecting with their inner resourcefulness and embodied sense of wholeness. Grounded in somatic awareness and nervous system care, she aims to create a space where clients can feel more at home within themselves and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.
