Wire Wrap Jewelry 101 with Angela HamiltonThursdays, March 28, April 4, 11, 18, 25, May 2: 6-8 pm
In this class for beginners, you will learn to use wire to create beautiful jewelry and to enhance your jewelry making skills. The techniques we use are easy, artistic and creative. Each week you will learn a different technique that will build on the previous week’s lesson. The ‘simple wrap’ technique will be used to make caged beads and bead caps. We will use this technique to make earrings and simple, yet elegant, wire wrapped bracelets with accented charms. Learn techniques to create your own findings such as wire links, clasps and earring hooks. We will wire wrap focal pieces to make rings and bangles, bringing the diva out in all of us! Finally, we will wrap up the class by creating wire wrapped leather pieces. All tools and materials are included in the class fee. Students may also bring in their favorite beads. $85 CCC Members / $102 Non-Members
