About this Event
A nature inspired workshop where we’ll create mostly 3D wire seed head stems to display in a vase. Inspiration will come from seed heads such as cow parsley, poppies, grasses and more. Judith will teach you how to use various gauges of wire and different techniques to create your seed heads. You can expect to come away with a bunch of stems to display at home, based on the ideas pictured here. All materials and use of tools included. Vases pictured are not included.
Note:
If you have a narrow necked vase or bottle (approx 14-18cm tall) that you intend to display your finished stems in please bring that along so you can put your stems in them as you make them. If you don’t have one, you can borrow a glass bottle from Judith for the day, there will also be the option to buy one, along with wire if you want to carry on making stems at home.
If you usually wear glasses for close work or reading, don’t forget to bring them along.
