Ticket includes dinner, drink, and the presentation! Your ticket goes towards paying for the event, with leftover sales used to fund welding grants and donations to schools. Historically these events have also been attended by students - meet your next employee at this great networking event.
Tickets are only available on Eventbrite or with cash, credit cards can no longer be accepted at the door. Dinner will be served at the event - may be buffet or may be individual orders depending on logistics with Gusto - please e-mail [email protected] for any dietary restrictions.

Abstract:
Alberta continues to struggle to adopt modern wire feed welding processes for common construction and fabrication industries, especially pressure equipment and field construction. Will's presentation works to uncover common misconceptions and dispel the erroneous beliefs preventing more utilization of higher deposition wire feed welding techniques.

Will Morlidge; CET, IWT, CSA W178.2 Level III; Welding Engineering Technologist; EXCHANGER INDUSTRIES LIMITED
Will is a graduate of the SAIT Welding Engineering Technology program and started his career 24-years ago in welding products sales. Since then he has worked in construction, oilfield equipment manufacturing, and pressure vessel and heat exchanger manufacturing. Will also welds at home to support various hobbies including vehicle restoration as well as his own building construction and acreage projects.
