About this Event
We’ll be hosting a fun work-in-progress screening in Hudson on March 18th at 6:30pm with scenes from four projects:
Son Jarocho by Mateo Caneo
A documentary film focused on the stories of the Son Jarocho music tradition and reflections on how we live in community.
Stakeout by Micah Khan
On a tense stakeout, two weary cops debate the value of their work—unaware that something sinister stalks the streets… and them
Vestibule by Riley Hooper
The story of one woman’s fight for sexual health, pleasure, and bodily autonomy told through imaginative dance sequences and intimate voiceover.
Dark Odyssey by Michael Lavine
An experimental sci-fi, stop motion film about two harvesters on an alien planet that encounter a life changing prophecy.
Because seating is limited at the venue, we will be reserving 10 seats for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and women so that we can ensure a diverse audience to give feedback on the projects.
As always, please DM me and Matt Dougherty if you have any feedback or questions about the group or upcoming events. We hope to organize more screenings and get togethers this spring.
See you soon!
