Location/ Starting point: West Street Park, entrance from High Street, Winterton.
Timing: Park opens from 2pm.
Please be there around 4:45pm

Please ensure suitable clothing and footwear for the day. We encourage anyone and everyone to get dressed up with Christmas fancy dress, Christmas Jumpers, Christmas hats and scarfs etc. Why not try (safe) lights to decorate yourself, pushchairs/wheelchairs/electric scooters
Lanterns:
General public - homemade lanterns are encouraged for health and safety No GLASS Lanterns and only battery powered lights or glow sticks (NO NAKED flames)
Reusing old lanterns is welcomed.
Workshops will be held for the public – with a charge of £3 for individual lanterns and £5 for a group large lantern. Dates will be released closer to the time.
Route: leaving park onto West Street, turn left walking up West Street.
Turning left onto Northlands Road.
Crossing over, turning right and walking along Northlands Road.
Take Left turn onto De Lacy Way.
Walking up De Lacy Way stopping at Sir John Masons (entering through the carpark excite and leaving from Carpark entrance).
After Sir John Masons, turn left onto Stovin Cresent. Follow Stovin Cresent.
Turn left onto De Lacy Way, following De Lacy to Earlsgate.
Turn left onto Earlsgate, walk down Earlsgate.
Crossing over on Northlands Road.
Turning right on Northlands Road and walking to the High Street.
Walk down High Street to Christmas tree.
Finishing point: Winterton’s community Christmas tree ready for Light Switch on
Length of route is approximal 1 mile taking a steady walk approximal 45 minutes long.
