You can always skate downtown at our local community ice rink located at the Angel of the Winds Arena! You can skate every day except Christmas Day and New Year's Day at variable times. Channel your inner Dorothy Hamill or Scott Hamilton and take to the ice!

🎁 Shop Small in Downtown Everett
#ShopSmall in Downtown Everett this Wintertide! The Downtown Everett Association will have the annual Downtown Everett Shopping Guide hot off the press, and they’re bringing back the iconic Everett canvas shopping totes (IYKYK). The guides and totes both launch at the Wintertide Sip & Shop (Nov. 21) to kick off the holiday shopping season in Downtown Everett! For those looking to support local businesses this winter and beyond, the Downtown Everett gift card is available year-round and makes a great gift for the hard-to-shop-for people on your list.

🎅 Wintertide Kickoff Celebration
Where: Downtown Everett, Colby and Hewitt.
Highlights include: Santa's grand arrival aboard the emissions-free Everett Transit Express, a tree lighting ceremony, free Santa photos, a snow blizzard miracle on Colby, kid’s crafts with visits from popular Disney characters, a viewing of ‘Frozen’ and ‘The Grinch’ at the Historic Everett Theatre and stuff-a-Bus with Santa’s elves toy and canned food drive.

🎄 Wintertide Lights at the Evergreen Arboretum
In December, the Evergreen Arboretum transforms into a lighted holiday wonderland for all to enjoy. Bring the whole family to see the light displays or catch one of their family fun events during the month of December. This dazzling display is free and open daily from 4 - 8 p.m. Consider donating to the Arboretum to help them continue and grow the annual Wintertide Lights program.
