About this Event
The River Valley's rock Christmas Extravaganza is back for the sixth year! Winter's Night: Tales of Christmas Wonder will be presented Saturday, November 16th at 7 PM. It will be held at the Center for the Arts, 2209 South Knoxville Avenue in Russellville AR. This event is the yearly fundraiser for Arkansas Center for Music Education (ACME), a local 501c3 non-profit that offers music performance opportunites for the community, including opportunities for the special needs community. Two of ACME's performance groups, the Community Festival Chorale and Heartstrings (special needs choir) will participate in this event.
This year is exciting as the music team is presenting new original songs and stories in the first half of the show. The second half will feature Christmas music by several different artists including Trans Siberian Orchestra, 4 King and Country, as well as some reimagined arrangements of songs from Polar Express. As always, there will be video wall, beautiful lighting (so strobes), and we've heard it could snow again . . .
This event is proudly sponsored by Blackstone, Architectural Engineering Consultants, and the Capitol Point Group all honoring the legacy of James Primm.
