Yule was a traditional holiday to welcome back the light on the longest night of the year, celebrating with friends and family with much food and merriment. So come and join us for a night of food, games, entertainment, and dancing on December 14th! In the spirit of the holiday this event is a gift to the populace, therefore there will be no site fee, only a fee for those wishing to partake in the feast to recoup the costs of the food.SCHEDULE:

EVENT REGISTRATION: None. This event is a gift to the populace.
ACTIVITIES/COMPETITIONS: Such activities during the event will consist of a dessert contest, with two chances to win. The first will be visual/historic presentation, and the second, a populace choice vote for the tastiest. You may submit either a single dessert item for both contests or two different desserts, one for each contest.
Baroness Finna will be teaching period games throughout the day, and his highness, Prince Brocc of Alderden has graciously volunteered to teach period dances later in the evening. There will be door prizes for those who attend, and bardic entertainment during the feast.
FEAST:
Feast Menu: Apricot chicken, Roasted vegetables, apple walnut salad, and French bread. Feast cost is $12/person. Cider, tea, and coffee will be provided.
If you wish to join us for the Feast, please contact the Event Stewards Baroness Kale’ Hrafnsdottir or Baroness Finna the Weaver before December 1st to assure yourself a seat for the feast. Please include your entire party and any allergy or dietary restriction. We’ll do our best to accommodate you. Off board will be allowed with notification and available table space.

DIRECTIONS: From the North: (using I-5) Take I-5 South to Exit 253 for Stockdale/Hwy 58. Stay on Hwy 58 until Exit 111 (for H St. and Chester), Turn right onto S. H St., then right onto Belle Terrace finally turn left onto Chapel Drive, church will be on the left-hand side.
Alternate 1 (using HWY 99) - take Hwy 99 South to Exit 24 (Stockdale Hwy toward Brundage Lane) turn left onto Stockdale Hwy, then right onto Wible Road, left onto Belle Terrace and finally right onto Chapel Drive, the church will be on the left.
Alternate 2 (using Hwy 101) - take Hwy 101 South to CA-46E toward Bakersfield, Take CA-46 E to the I-5 South. Then follow I-5 South to Exit 253 (Stockdale/Hwy 58). Stay on Hwy 58 until Exit 111 (for H St. and Chester), Turn right onto S. H St., then right onto Belle Terrace finally turn left onto Chapel Drive, church will be on the left-hand side.
From the South: Take I-5 North following signs before merging onto Hwy 99 North. Take Exit 23 for Ming Ave N. Turn left onto Ming Ave. Turn left onto Castro Lane, turn right onto Belle Terrace. Turn right onto Chapel Drive, church is on the left.
