Coming soon to the Barony of Wintermist… W.A.R.!!! Aka Wintermist Art Revival. Mark your calendars for a day of art appreciation and sharing. Come bring your projects, questions, problems, and knowledge to share with other artisans. There is a kitchen so if anyone wants to demonstrate cooking techniques or brewing, have at it! If you are interested in teaching or demonstrating an artform, let the event steward know so she can schedule the kitchen or certain spaces to provide equal time. Let’s appreciate art together! This event will help fund Wintermist's A&S office site rental, activity, and prizes.SCHEDULE:
8am: Set-up
9am: Site opens
9:30am: Opening court (at Excellencies’ leisure)
10am-3pm: Art demos and sharing time! Take lunch at your leisure.
3pm: Closing court
4pm: Event ends, cleanup. Off site by 5pm
EVENT REGISTRATION: Adult Event Registration: $20.00. Adult Member Discount Event Registration: $10.00. Youth aged 17 and under are guests of the Barony. Cash or checks will be accepted at gate. Checks can be made payable to “SCA, Inc./Barony of Wintermist”.
ACTIVITIES: There will be a drawing for door prizes! Some of our amazing artisans are donating items. At gate attendees will get a ticket with their site fee and be entered to win one of the door prizes. Other activities will depend on who attends. This event is molded by the attendees, so let’s enjoy the act of making art and inspiring one another!

DIRECTIONS: From the North: (using I-5) Take I-5 South to Exit 253 for Stockdale/Hwy 58. Stay on Hwy 58 until Exit 111 (for H St. and Chester), Turn right onto S. H St., then right onto Belle Terrace finally turn left onto Chapel Drive, church will be on the left-hand side.
Alternate 1 (using HWY 99) - take Hwy 99 South to Exit 24 (Stockdale Hwy toward Brundage Lane) turn left onto Stockdale Hwy, then right onto Wible Road, left onto Belle Terrace and finally right onto Chapel Drive, the church will be on the left.
Alternate 2 (using Hwy 101) - take Hwy 101 South to CA-46E toward Bakersfield, Take CA-46 E to the I-5 South. Then follow I-5 South to Exit 253 (Stockdale/Hwy 58). Stay on Hwy 58 until Exit 111 (for H St. and Chester), Turn right onto S. H St., then right onto Belle Terrace finally turn left onto Chapel Drive, church will be on the left-hand side.
From the South: Take I-5 North following signs before merging onto Hwy 99 North. Take Exit 23 for Ming Ave N. Turn left onto Ming Ave. Turn left onto Castro Lane, turn right onto Belle Terrace. Turn right onto Chapel Drive, church is on the left.
