Bundle up and be well in winter! Come relax, move, and connect in nature on February 15 and 16 for the second year of Winterfest at the MN Zoo. Enjoy wellness activities and wintry fun that will keep you warm outdoors.
Animals are adapted to the cold season – let’s join them! Throw on your woolly winter coat and head outdoors to relax and reconnect with nature. Thanks to the sponsor YMCA of the North, wellness activities are included with your Zoo admission on February 15 and 16. While the kids are on break from school, come warm your hearts with the wildlife.
⛄Activities included with your Zoo admission
• Sound bath: Immerse yourself in deep sound vibrations and let the stress melt away!
• Snow-ga: Energize your yoga practice outdoors. Take a deep breath – and a break – while you stretch under winter skies.
• Guided Hikes: See the Minnesota Zoo with fresh eyes and gain a new perspective on nature. Your expert guide will open your eyes to the many signs of wildlife in winter and share how animals survive and thrive in the cold season.
⛄Fun in the Winter Sun
• Penguin Pub: Flock to the carved ice bar outdoors on Celebration Plaza. Specialty drinks for purchase. It’s a picture-perfect photo op, too!
• S’mores kits for purchase. Toast these sweet treats while you gather round the fire pits.
