Winter Yoga & Mindfulness Retreat Day - Sunday 21st December, the Winter Solstice...As we reach the darkest point of the year, you are invited to take a day to deeply rest, nourish and reconnect to the light within. The time of the Winter solstice can feel heavy and laden with high expectations as the holiday period approaches. Yet we can use this time of the year to our advantage by following nature’s lead and resting, recuperating and making small preparations for the lighter times ahead. This seasonal wellbeing retreat offers a blend of practices to give your body, mind & soul the tonic that it needs at this time of the year.
The day itself will include:
💫 A seasonally aligned Yoga session.
💫 A restorative practice of Yoga Nidra.
💫 Mindfulness meditation to quieten and allow you to find your centre.
💫 A short talk about the energetics of the season with teachings from ancient wisdom traditions, guiding how to adapt your self-care for whole health this Winter.
💫 An easy mindful craft that will allow you to enjoy the healing benefits of creative flow, plus something to take away with you as a keepsake and inspire your self-care at home.
💫 Guided reflection time to give you space to connect to what you will need over the next few weeks of Winter.
💫 A nourishing, seasonal two-course lunch.
💫 All hot/cold drinks and snacks throughout the day.
