The tonal frequencies of the crystal singing bowls, chimes and bells help to slow down the brain's activities, soothe the nervous system, rebalance the chakras, clean energy blockages and generate greater harmony and homeostasis within the body.

Yin yoga with Belinda, Michelago Yoga: Winter is a wonderful season to practice yin yoga. The days are darker and colder allowing a wonderful opportunity to turn inward — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Yin yoga is a slow, grounding, generally floor-based practice that helps to calm the nervous system, gradually release tension in the fascia throughout the body and invites us to bring awareness to the body-mind connection.

What to bring: Comfort is the absolute priority for this experience! You're invited to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (pyjama's perhaps?) and please bring along a yoga mat and maybe your favourite blanket, a pillow and anything else you feel would help you to feel more relaxed. You're also invited to bring along a special object to absorb some of the energies and take home with you as a reminder of this experience.

Belinda, Michelago Yoga, is a trauma sensitive and mental-health focused yoga teacher from a small property in Michelago (just outside Canberra on the way to the snow).
