Alzheimer’s: Hope for Healing, Here and NowTeacher: Mike Duncan
Overview: An Alzheimer's Disease diagnosis strikes fear and hopelessness in the hearts of just about everyone. Traditional medicine only offers medications that MAY slow the progression in some cases, but the long-term prognosis isn't favorable.
When Mike Duncan received his initial mild cognitive impairment diagnosis (a possible precursor to Alzheimer’s) and a six-month waiting list to see a local dementia specialist, he began praying, researching, and talking with medical providers. Knowing he was facing a possible Alzheimer’s diagnosis, he was deeply motivated to investigate every option, eventually leading him to a specific protocol with which he has experienced tremendous results, including a significant reversal of cognitive decline.
The story of how God opened doors to navigate through some difficult logistics to bring various medical providers into Mike’s path is amazing in itself. After receiving the dreaded Alzheimer’s diagnosis in this past October, Mike determined the opportunity would not be wasted and instead used to help others learn how to start their journey toward hope and healing, here and now. This seminar is not Mike's story but God's story, working through Mike's life.
