🐶 WINTER WONDERLAND - UGLY CHRIMSTAS SWEATER DOG WALK 🎅🏻This Christmas, let's treat a local shelter dog to a walk around beautiful downtown Pensacola. Giving 20 adoptable dogs a chance to get out, enjoy their surroundings, and gain exposure is a small piece of what we can do to help find them their furrrever homes. Each dog will be wearing a Christmas bandana, so grab your ugly Christmas sweater and sign up today to be a dog’s hero for an hour! 🦮🎄
We will take a 45-60 minute stroll downtown where we will meet other local dog owners, get to play with 20 adoptable dogs, and treat them to some time outside of the shelter. 🥳 💞
🎄 EVENT INFO
We will need everyone there by 10:30, so we can go over proper procedures and instructions for handling a shelter dog
Please keep in mind, some of these dogs will be big and excited. We will do our best to pair you with a dog you feel comfortable with, but make sure you are physically able to safely walk a bigger dog that will be excited.
Walk begins at Plaza de Luna, in front of Jaco's, walk down Palafox and enjoy the day. We will take a group photo in front of the big Christmas tree in front of the museum, and then return back to the plaza.
50% of proceeds will be donated to The Escambia County Animal Shelter as a fundraiser for Paw-di Gras. The other 50% will go directly to the event itself.
All dogs will have a Christmas sweater or bandana on. We ask everyone to wear Christmas sweater, too!
You may also bring a stocking donations for the animal shelters to help aide in our shelter drive.
🧦🎁 Donation Guidelines: WolfGang is working to give over 300 animals, currently in the shelter, their very own stocking for this year! Let's help make their Christmas a great one!🎅🏻🎄☃️
Donations this year should be in stocking form (or a bag) with the following recommendations:
(1) one bag of treats (for a cat or dog) no bones please
(1) one dog or cat toy (please no plastic toys/ plush toys only)
(1) one fleece blanket (please make sure it is a medium to large size)
