Beginner Cookie Decorating Class
Join Wildflour Cookie Co. for a fun, hands-on beginner’s class where you’ll learn the basics of decorating beautiful sugar cookies! Emilee will guide you step-by-step through decorating six sugar cookies that you’ll take home to show off to family and friends. All supplies are provided—just bring your enthusiasm and a readiness to have fun!
📍 Location:
This class will be held at the Wildflour Cookie Co. commercial kitchen located at 601 N Waverly Rd, Lansing, MI 48917.
Doors open 15 minutes before class begins. Class will start promptly at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 2026, and will end around 12:00 PM.
You’ll learn essential cookie decorating techniques, including:
Outlining
Flooding
Wet-on-wet design
Creating 2D details
Understanding royal icing consistencies
Each student will leave with:
Six beautifully decorated cookies
A box to safely take your creations home
A printed tips-and-tricks guide with recipes for royal icing and sugar cookies
All are welcome to join this beginner-friendly class! We recommend it for ages 8 and up, though younger children are welcome if you feel they’ll enjoy it. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued once your ticket has been purchased.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to someone else—please notify Emilee as soon as possible so attendance records can be updated. Occasionally, a waitlist may be available if you cannot find a replacement on your own.
Wildflour Cookie Co. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to illness, emergency, or low enrollment. If this occurs, you will be notified immediately and offered either a refund or the option to move your ticket to a future class. In the event of inclement weather or an act of God, a coupon code will be provided to apply your class fee toward a future event.
