Winter Wellness — An Urban Day Retreat

Mid-winter asks us to slow down — but most of us keep pushing.
This urban day retreat is an invitation to step off your phone, your schedule, and the constant doing, and spend a full day being warmly held through movement, rest, heat, nourishment, sound, and community.
Led by Bryony & Silas, the day includes:
✨ Flow to Restore yoga — gentle, grounding movement to support the nervous system
✨ Infrared sauna to warm, soften, and deeply relax the body
✨ Optional cold therapy (gentle, guided, and always invitational)
✨ Herbal teas and nourishing snacks throughout the day
✨ Organic vegetarian lunch — seasonal curry and homemade cakes
✨ Deep sound bath for rest and integration
✨ Intention-setting circle to close the day with clarity and ease
The space & how the day is held
The day takes place across our Soma Luna studio and adjoining lounge spaces, all designed to support warmth, comfort, and rest.
The Soma Luna studio (formerly Moon) has underfloor heating, soft lighting, and plenty of supportive yoga props, allowing you to fully settle during yoga, rest, and the sound bath.
Alongside this, we have a separate lounge area next to the kitchen, where food is served. During the sauna sessions, you’re welcome to move freely between spaces — reclining on yoga props in the studio, or resting, chatting, and warming up in the lounge with tea and snacks.
This gentle flow between spaces allows the day to feel spacious and unhurried, with no pressure to be anywhere other than where your body feels most comfortable in the moment.
The experience is carefully held by experienced practitioners, including a yoga therapist and reiki and sound practitioners, creating a safe, supportive environment for deep rest and nervous system regulation.
This isn’t about self-improvement or pushing on regardless.
It’s about warmth, nourishment, rest, and reconnecting to your body when winter feels long and heavy.
