Winter Waves presents monthly concerts at historic St Patrick's Museum with outstanding and stylistically diverse artists. All concerts are $25 admission, with tickets on sale at www.cbrmrecreation.ca. Duo Beija-Flor presents world-folk-inspired classical music with "superb playing, varied programs and infectious rhythms" (The Whole Note, Toronto). Composed of flautist Marie-Noëlle Choquette and guitarist Charles Hobson, the duo has performed in Canada, the United States, Argentina and Costa Rica. The duo has also been awarded several awards and grants from organizations including, Canadian and Quebec arts councils, the National Arts Centre, the Banff Centre for the arts, Orford music among others.
