About this Event
Welcome to the Winter Warmers Workshops with ELIGN! Join us for a cosy conversation at the Volunteer Centre East Lothian. This is the first workshop in a little Winter series of coming together and exploring the need for intergenerational approaches, and it's benefits, in range of situations. We are aiming to share tasty ingredients, for an intergenerational broth of inspiration - with Bella Kerr from Generations Working Together. Information and research from across Scotland will be added to the pot - with additions and flavouring from those present. We intend that this will be a very interactive workshop - with those present contributing to and developing the dialogue.
Key topics being introduced are
- community safety / social justice
- housing, spaces and places
- health and wellbeing, particular focus on partnership with Eden Communities and Food For Life Getogethers / Soil Association
- volunteering
This is open to all interested in intergenerational approaches and any of the particular topics mentioned. Spaces are a little limited in this meeting room, so booking is essential - there is no charge to attend.
If you have any specific requirements to support inclusive accessibility please check FAQs then contact organiser with any queries, so that needs and options can be checked with venue.
