Special Notes: We will not be allowing talk-throughs. You must play through your game to score points. If you run out of time, the game will stop and you will need to tally points where you are at. If you need to do something unusual, call a judge. We highly recommend chess clocks, we will be ignoring any complaints of slow-play, full stop. Each player has their allotted time and you both mutually consenting to not use a proper clock is mutually consenting to let your opponent take as much time as they want.
Judges will circulate in the first round to let you know if your army qualifies for fully painted and based. Painted means, usually, multiple colors and some effort at creating a look. Based means texture or paint at a minimum across the base, or significant detail. Acrylic/clear portions of a base don’t need to be painted or have detail.
Proxy/3d/whatever: Make sure anything that isn’t the official model is appropriate. Weapons are the most important thing and when using alternate weapons you must be consistent.
Codexes are only legal once they are available individually, not as part of an introductory set. NO new rules or FAQs published after 12/28/2024 will be used. We do not use first floor line of sight blocking or other House Rules.
