The Winter Wanderlust 50km returns for another epic point-to-point trail race, guiding you along the North Downs Way from Detling to Wye. Expect breathtaking winter landscapes, historic landmarks, and a festive finish, all wrapped up in a challenging yet rewarding ultra experience.
🏔 THE ROUTE
This stunning 50km journey takes you through ancient woodlands, rolling countryside, and historic landmarks. The race begins in Detling, leading you through Boxley Warren’s vineyards and forests before joining the North Downs Way. You’ll pass the ruins of Thurnham Castle, soak in sweeping views at Lenham Cross, and tackle varied terrain of open farmland and sheltered trails.
The final stretch through Wye Downs Nature Reserve is unforgettable, featuring the Wye Crown and the dramatic Devil’s Kneading Trough, offering uninterrupted views across the Weald of Kent. A fast descent takes you into Wye, where a warm finish, hot food, and celebrations await!
