Grey skies, misty air, and that unmistakable chill of Saddi Dilli can make mornings feel sluggish and slow…But what does the Doc prescribe as the perfect winter pick-me-up?
A leisurely brunch walk through the glowing, waking markets of Old Delhi—where shutters rise, oil crackles, and aromas wrap you in instant comfort.
Imagine crispy kachoris straight from the kadhai, soft yet spicy samosas, tangy tikkas, slow-cooked curries, rich halwas, and sizzling seekhs—all enjoyed while the Walled City stretches itself awake!!
From the robust, bold flavours of Central Asian–influenced Mughal kitchens to the subtle, time-honoured tastes of Marwari snacks prepared by Old Delhi’s trading communities, or the honest flavours of a Jain shop, a winter brunch here is nothing short of soul-foods.
Join our Co-Founder, foodie-in-chief, and food writer Ramit Mitra as he leads you on a hand-picked brunch trail through the lanes of the 17th-century Mughal city of Shahjahanabad, fondly known today as Old Delhi.
So don’t let the weather dull your spirits.
Skip breakfast, come hungry, lace up your walking shoes, wrap-up warmly, and let us pamper you with flavours, stories, and winter comfort on arguably Delhi’s oldest-running and most iconic food exploration—this time, in the golden glow of a winter brunch!
