The Winter Sun Tour featuring Dan Sealey and Lorraine Nash. Dan started his career with folk rock band ‘Ocean Colour Scene’ touring the world and playing headline slots at major festivals for over a decade. He co-founded the band ‘Merrymouth’ with Simon Fowler. The band featured award-winning musicians, John McCusker, Andy Cutting and even a guest appearance from Chas Hodges (Chas and Dave). Merrymouth released two critically acclaimed studio albums.
Dan is taking his own show on the road. The show features music from all the bands he’s been involved with, the often hilarious stories he’s amassed along the way and material from his new album.
Ireland’s County Kerry native multi-instrumentalist, Lorraine Nash, is one of Ireland’s newest rising talents. Lorraine’s vocal emanates from a soulful place, somewhere between Tracy Chapman and Gillian Welch, evoking Americana and folk tones. Lorraine has been performing since she was young and is a talented pianist, guitar, harp, flute and violin player. Equally at home in Irish Trad, Lorraine’s original material brings an eclectic mix of music traditions to the table, while ensuring that her own unique voice and élan comes through unmistakably.
