FAQ:
Q: I already start seedlings indoors/ in a greenhouse. How is this any better?
A: Winter-sown seedlings tend to grow much stronger and are more cold-hardy than seedlings started indoors or in a typical greenhouse. That is because they receive more light than indoor seedlings grown with grow-lights, and they become more acclimated to the cold than those grown in a typical greenhouse. It also requires less maintenance, as seedlings are watered by rain and snow, and it is very affordable!
