Healthy Yards and the APSU Center of Excellence for Field Biology will show you how to grow hardy native seedlings in a variety of containers. Growing from seed is the inexpensive way to give your garden a head start with proven methods. No registration required, no fee. This is a more advanced seminar than our past milkweed in milk jug events. Participants will not be planting at the event, but will receive free native seeds of a variety of species. The mini-greenhouse is a large clear tote with pre-drilled holes for drainage and airflow, ready for use ($25 value). Event appropriate for ages 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
