Join us for our 5th annual celebration of Yule (Winter Solstice). Celebrate as the ancients did and commune with other beings oriented around the beauty of the natural cycles of time. We will wildcraft local plants and make wreaths for our doors, call in the light in the midst of winter darkness, toast with Wassail in the apple orchard for a fruitful and abundant year ahead, sing Yule carols, and of course, feast!
Men, women and children welcome on this one! To attend, select Going (or private message a host) and we will reach out to you with Registration info and give you the address for the event.
In the yearly cycle of the seasons, Yule comes at a time when the Earth is most separate and distinct from the cosmos, most alone with itself - like someone who has breathed in and holds her breath. As human beings, we have the opportunity to awaken at this time to our inner depths, unsustained by the physical realities of external warmth and light. We can acknowledge the natural cycles of the sun and rest in knowing that soon again, the sun will start its return to us.
