For thousands of years the Winter Solstice has been celebrated around the world—acknowledging the shortest day of the year as a return to light, a return to innocence; a rebirth along the wheel of life as the great world continues to spin.Join us for a special candlelight yoga class and guided meditation with Lisa Mo to honor and acknowledge Winter Solstice, as we invite in and welcome back the light through this beautiful seasonal transition; Sunday, December 21 at 6 pm.
This 75-minute slow flow class will be set to winter-themed music, including some traditional Yule carols in the style of our pre-Christian ancestors, and will be appropriate for all levels of experience--beginners always welcome.
Participants should dress comfortably for movement, bring a yoga mat and water, and arrive a few minutes early to settle in and set up their space.
