Come join us, as we keep vigil through the night, awaiting the rising of the Sun!Camp Chowenwaw offers climate-controlled cabins, with beds and electricity. (Provide your own bedding.) We have access to finished, ADA bathrooms (including showers) and a kitchen with stove and microwave.
Most will spend the night (or large parts of it) keeping vigil around the fire. Bring food to share (crock-pots are great!), a comfortable chair, firewood (gathered within 30 miles), and acoustic instruments, and lots of warm clothes/blankets.
Crafts, rituals, stories, music all encouraged.
If you bring/use flashlights, you will be asked to cover with red cellophane, for the sake of people's night-vision.
This year, we are in Squirrel Run: You can drive your car up to the campsite, and there are two ADA-approved cabins available.
