About this Event
Join us on the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, as we gather to honor the return of the light through the ancient art of candle making. Guided by Sara Wait, founder of Slow Burn, you’ll hand-dip your own pair of pure beeswax tapers in a slow, meditative rhythm that mirrors the turning of the season.
This workshop invites you to pause and connect with the warmth of natural beeswax while reflecting on the light within and around you. As the candles take shape layer by layer, you’ll experience the quiet joy of creating something both beautiful and functional, a handmade gift for yourself or a loved one.
You’ll Learn & Receive:
- A hands-on introduction to the traditional process of hand-dipping beeswax candles
- Guidance from Sara Wait on the mindful, intentional nature of candle making
- A finished pair of 12" pure beeswax tapers to take home, crafted by your own hands
- All materials and tools provided
No experience is necessary, just bring your curiosity and an openness to slow down. Step out of the darkness and into the glow. Spots are limited, so reserve your seat early.
