Come join us for a magical morning of rejuvenation as we celebrate the Winter Solstice with a soothing soundbath. Immerse yourself in the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and ocean and rain sounds. Sound healing and other holistic forms of wellness are deeply spiritual, connected to ancient traditions, and rooted in our shared humanity. This offering is an opportunity to align with inner peace and reconnect with oneself.
The Winter Solstice
Marking the shortest day and longest night of the year, the winter solstice connects us to the natural cycles of of Earth, representing a time of renewal and reflection. The solstice invites us to reflect over the past year, release what no longer serves us, and welcome in transformation. It marks the turning point where the days begin to grow longer, symbolizing hope, new beginnings, and light overcoming darkness. Many ancient cultures viewed the solstice as a metaphorical death and rebirth, a reminder that no matter how dark times may seem, light and growth will return. A message profoundly applicable to the world today.

What to Expect
This event will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Fit For a Purpose Studio located at 6329 Jonesboro Rd., Morrow, GA at 11:00am. Doors will open at 10:45am and early arrival is suggested as doors will close once the soundbath begins. Participants will be invitied to lay comfortably and drop into the present moment. You will be guided into a meditative state and the soothing frequencies of the sound instruments will fill the space, breaking up heavy energy in the body and literally raising your vibrations. Bring a yoga mat or blanket, anything else to help you relax, and an open heart and mind. The cost of this offering exchange is priced at $15. However, in order to increase accesbile wellness to all you are invited to pay what you can with our donation based option. Limited spots are available, so be sure to reserve your spot soon!
Meet your Host
Chelsey is a relational therapist, certified sound healer, 200HR registered yoga teacher, and the creator of the health and wellness platform, Power Through Process. She hosts wellness event and lead therapy groups centered around forming deeper connections to your inner self (mind, body, and spirit) and the world around you. She provides relational and somatic therapy to adults and couples. Her approach to therapy and healing work is client-centered, trauma informed, holistic, and mind-body focused. She is passionate about creating spaces and opportunities for folks, especially communities of color, to engage in wellness.
