Winter solstice marks the longest night and shortest day of the year, a time of hibernation and healing. During this sound bath, Laurie will use frequency to deeply heal and tend to this process.
In this sound bath you will experience…
• Gentle and restorative meditation to guide you into a rested state
• Healing and angelic sounds of the crystal singing bowls and other instruments
• Intention setting for the season and ahead
Tea and Warm Cider will be served after the Sound Bath to allow for an ease back into the rest of your day.
$25/person
Tips for attending a sound bath:
* Arrive early: Arrive 15 minutes early so you are ready at the start time. Give yourself time to settle in, find a comfortable spot, and meet the host if you want. You can also try practicing mindfulness before the session begins by closing your eyes, focusing on your breath, and relaxing.
* Dress comfortably: Wear loose, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely and sit or lie down comfortably. You can also bring layers in case your body temperature changes during the session.
* Prepare beforehand: Avoid heavy foods, caffeine, sugar, tobacco, or alcohol before the session.
* Embrace silence: Don't talk during the sound bath and save conversations for after the session.
* Engage with the sounds: Focus on the layers and textures of the sound waves and pay attention to how they make you feel. Allow your body to release anything you might be holding in your body with each sound wave.
* Equipment: You might want to bring something to lay on, a blanket, a cushion or a bolster. Some people like to wear an eye mask. The venue is fully accessible and there is chair seating.
* Cell Phones Off: Fully switch off cell phones and store them in for an uninterrupted experience.
* Respect the Instruments & Crystals: Please admire our sound bath instruments and crystals from a distance, but do not touch them.
* Embrace Silence: Please do not talk during the sound bath. Save conversations for after the session.
