Are you ready to release the hyper energy that comes with the end of the semester, and step away from the demands of the holiday season? To reflect on what has been and harness your inner light to prepare for the next cycle? This Winter Solstice, let go of the year’s burdens and nurture your inner self through slow, introspective Yin yoga poses along with relaxing, live cello music.Practice a radical act of self-care during one of the busiest and most demanding times of the year and honor your natural need for rest and stillness. You’ll be guided through and intentional yin yoga practice in a candle lit setting, and bathed in the calming sounds of the cello. This is an invitation to slow down,
reconnect to your breath and find connection with the natural rhythms of life.
Held on the Winter Solstice on Sunday, December 21 from 4-5:30 PM (spaces are limited).
Yin yoga led by Maryalice Snider, RYT 200 accompanied by Dr. Beth Vanderborgh, Professor of Cello at the University of Wyoming. Beth is also principal cellist of the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra, and cellist of the Helios Trio, among other distinguished roles.
