The spiritual meaning of Winter solstice is in its symbolism for “darkness” and patiently waiting for “light”. The Winter Solstice signifies the final moments of peaceful solitude we might have before the busier season of Spring arrives. We are encouraged during this time to enjoy the stillness while we have it.
Join us on Saturday evening December 21st at 6:30pm at Wren Haven Spiritual Center as we celebrate this time of quiet and rest with a gentle Sound Journey and Meditation centering around the upcoming Holiday Season from Yule to Christmas, from Hanukkah to Kwanzaa and the New Year.
This will be a pot luck event with different types of dishes, hopefully from different cultures, so bring something wonderful to share. Water, tea, cacao, & coffee will be on hand.
Weather permitting, we will celebrate outdoors, so bring what will make you cozy and comfy. Fire afterwards, firewood donations most welcome.
