EVENT: Winter Solstice Night Paddle around Delfin IslandDATE: Monday 21st June 2021
MEET TIME: 5.30pm for 6.00pm first strokes
DURATION: Plan for a 1 hour paddle, then after wards at the Bartley Hotel

DESCRIPTION:
Monday 21st June is the winter solstice, so let’s join Phil and celebrate with a lap of Delphin Island, West Lakes as a night paddle. Sunset occurs at 5.12pm.
Perhaps this could become a regular winter paddle to celebrate the changing season, after which we can look forward to longer daylight hours with more paddling opportunities!
Full lap is approx. 7.5 Km. with estimated time just over 1 hour.
There may be an option for a shorter course if numbers permit.
After the paddle we may head for the Bartley Hotel for snack/drink and social catchup with a view to discuss upcoming trip opportunities.
