About this Event
We acknowledge and celebrate this most auspicious time of year! Many traditions around the world honor the longest night in anticipation of the rebirth of the Sacred Fire in the Sky. Winter Solstice marks a new solar cycle, which begins with a great stillness, a fruitful darkness, so that seeds of intention can be planted.
Our time around a sacred fire is a time to release what is no longer needed. This prepares us to begin setting intentions for the coming year. With each day, the sun gains strength as our intentions slowly take root, and take on new life to reach their peak at Summer Solstice.
