Winter Solstice Dance Party!December 21st

Come celebrate the shortest day/longest night of the year at a special dance party at Susie Bucklin's house and property!
There are plenty of outdoor spaces, including a couple of covered porches and we will have an outdoor firepit going as well if it's cold enough. There is also space inside to dance and socialize if the weather is inclement.
Susie is making posole and if the mood strikes you, bring some finger food for a casual potluck. there will be birthday cake, as Susie's birthday is on the 25th!
This is a free event but, as always, donations are welcome! If you are able to contribute we will give all cash, Venmo and PayPal contributions to United Voices For Newcomer Rights. They "envision New Mexico leading the country in effective refugee resettlement and immigration policies and programs, which humanely support newcomers, build on and learn from the strengths that newcomers bring, and promote newcomer well-being and civic engagement in order to work towards a world where all individuals, families, and communities are able to reach their fullest potential."

UVNR Board Member Peri Pakroo will be on hand to answer questions and will also be conducting a book and music sale with all proceeds to benefit the organization.
Parking:
From 2nd St, between Montano and Osuna, turn West on Vineyard and drive to the PO Box labeled 235/239 on the right (North side). Inside the gate there will be space for 11 vehicles. There are 5 back in parking spots on the East side / park perpendicular to the 6' fence. There are 3 back in spots on the West side / park parallel to my tenants' 2 cars and there are an additional 3 spots parallel to the shop. If parking is full inside the gate, you may find one spot under the tree outside the gate, in a random spot along the road (please do not block any driveways), and more parking along 2nd St between the road and the ditch on the dirt areas. Please car pool, if you are able.
