Join Us for a soul-warming Winter Solstice Céilí! Admission is $10 at the door for adults and free for youth 18 years and younger.
Get ready to celebrate the solstice with a lively céilí that will make your heart dance with joy!
What to Expect:
Enjoy the tradition of céilí dancing— a social dance deeply rooted in Irish culture (and beyond!). Don’t worry if you’re new to céilí, we’ve got you covered. Our friendly instructors will guide you through the steps and dances, making sure everyone can join in the fun.
Live Music:
Dance to the tunes of the Twin Cities Ceili Band! Their lively melodies will have you tapping your feet and eager to get on the dance floor.
Open Invitation:
This event is open to ALL! Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just curious to try something new, everyone is welcome to share the joy and camaraderie of céilí. Bring your friends and family for an evening of laughter and togetherness.
Schedule:
6:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Get ready for the dance floor with a beginner-friendly lesson, where we’ll introduce you to the steps and terms that make céilí dance so special. We will also spend some time going more slowly through one or two of the dances we will do during the night. So if you are new, we highly recommend coming for this part.
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Let the merriment begin! Dance the night away with tunes from the Twin Cities Ceili Band, and don’t worry—we’ll continue to teach and guide you through each dance.
