An opportunity to find deep relaxation, and a connection to your truest self, or authentic resonance ~ facilitated by the use of powerful acoustic instruments including Himalayan Sound Bowls, traditional Chinese gongs - Chao, Feng & Heng, & Bansuri Bamboo Flute.
~ Doors will open at 3:45, and lock at 4:10 to start the occasion. The last solstice event filled up, get there early to secure your spot. (Occasion is on Del Norte time, will start 10 after the hour and go for about 60 minutes, maybe a little longer ~~)
~For Yoga enthusiasts, you can think of this as an extended savasana with a soundscape to take you even deeper ~ Participants report deep relaxation extending into the following days, feelings of floating, physical pain - relief, and deeply personal mystical experiences.
~The intention is for the sounds to bring you into the body as a Somatic experience, then connect you to something bigger than yourself.
~The occasion also includes guided sound meditation and conscious breathing exercises to start off with before the deep dive with the bowls and gongs ~ ~ ~
~ Disclaimer, the meditative or therapeutic component works mostly via the phenomenon of brainwave entrainment, in this case induced by monaural soundwave beats. This phenomenon does not occur for everyone, in that case the person would experience the relaxing sounds without the inner experience.
~ Facilitated by professional degreed musician and certified yoga/meditation instructor with almost 40 years of personal experience with therapeutic sounds
