Welcome the Winter Solstice with an invigorating cold swim then a blazing hot fire walk over hot coals! Face a fear, be brave and raise money for accessible swimming equipment. While the fire is prepared outside, you will join your fellow firewalkers for a 1 hour motivational training seminar from our expert firewalking instructor. You will then head outside feeling empowered to walk barefoot across a bed of glowing coals and embers (with temperatures between 1,200-1,600 degrees fahrenheit!).
Our Firewalk is led by The Fundraising Firewalk Association UK, who follow strict safety protocols to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time. On the night, their internationally certified firewalking instructor will support you to conquer this incredible challenge.
This event is to raise funds to purchase floating wheelchairs so people with disabilites can also enter and exit the lake safely and enjoy time in the water. Each firewalker is charged £20 to register for your firewalk and agrees to raise a minimum of £75 for the fund.
The event starts at 4pm where you have time for a swim & food before the big event.
Hot food will be available to purchase on the night from the Cafe.
We ask people to car share where possible. No dogs are permitted to this event.
If you are swimming you will need a tow float and a head torch
We have tickets for firewalkers, spectators who want to swim or just cheer you on.
All fire walkers will be sent a registration form by email to complete. This will give then add you to the fundraising team and how the funds will be spent.
