We gather to celebrate a return to the darkness. As the earth returns to her slumber, we too honor our bodies need for slumber. I call to the spirit of Mother Earth to guide us as we slow down, we honor the natural ebb and flow of life as it continues. We honor those that have come before us and ask spirit for guidance as we enter this time of natural hibernation. On the Winter Solstice we will celebrate a return of the dark time of the earth. We will honor our own inner hibernation and journey to meet with our angel guides. There will be a winter solstice ceremony and a time to reflect on our bodies natural rhythm as we slow down. You will have an opportunity to take a shamanic guided journey to meet with one of your angel guides. This could be a guide that is there to help you on your earth walk or a relative that has passed on. Sometimes they will take this opportunity to come through and get a message to you.
You need no experience to journey, just an open heart and good intentions. You can take time in the days before the ceremony to ask spirit for what you would like to come through at this time. What is it you need in your life right now? What is it you are searching for? Taking time to get into stillness helps honor the great mystery and helps align you for this experience.
What to bring:
* Water to drink
* Your journal or something to write down your journey
* Something to represent the earth element. This can be a stone, a small plant whatever you would like to bring to sit on the altar
* Wear comfortable clothes
* There will be hot tea and biscotti available if you could bring your own cup, that would be helpful.
This will be lead by Rhonda Skinner, Shamanic Healing Practitioner trained in the hollow bone tradition. She has 11 years experience as a healing working with clients from around the world to bring them back into their core power. We are all our own healers, it is when we are stuck or going through a big transition or need guidance that we might need help from a healer to connect us with our own medicine.
