Step into the longest night of the year and let yourself soften into a moment of stillness and renewal.This Winter Solstice ceremony brings together warm ceremonial cacao, gentle ritual, and a soothing soundbath to honor both release and rebirth.
Cacao is a beautiful plant medicine that opens the heart and brings clarity to what we are ready to let go of and what we are ready to welcome. It is often used to honor transitions, which is why I only host one cacao ceremony each year. This year it felt right to offer it during the Solstice, a sacred turning point when the light begins its slow return.
We will begin by sharing warm cacao made with sugar free coconut milk and hand crafted cacao created by makers I know in Portland who work directly with Indigenous communities in Peru. Together we will honor the spirit of cacao and the seasonal shift.
After our ritual, you will settle into a comfortable gravity chair or cozy cot and drift into a peaceful soundbath designed to support rest, release, and renewal.
You will also take home a small Solstice goodie bag for your personal ritual on December twenty first.
This gathering is meant to be warm, gentle, and comforting.
