WINTER SOLSTICE BREATH LED SUNDAY
Join us for a special evening of breathwork, kundalini global, sound and Blue Lotus to celebrate the winter solstice. As we enter the darker months we naturally turn towards inward reflection and creativity, this practice will help us to embody this transition.
Blue Lotus is a sacred medicinal plant known as Egyptian Water Lily that can stimulate the senses and was used to connect to relieve stress and anxiety, aid meditation, relaxation and dream states. Blue Lotus and breath are great companions, enhancing one another’s gifts.
There will be a candle lit alter space and we will share Blue Lotus tea before we begin a practice of breathwork and Kundalini Global yoga to activate the energetic body, helping us to move with purpose and embody our intentions.
Breath is a powerful tool we can use to release tension in the body, and enter a deep state of calm and presence. When we combine breath and posture it allows us to quiet our minds and open our hearts, experiencing ourselves completely as we are. Some breaths will be energetic, some incredibly soft and gentle, both will allow us to access stillness.
This session will We will finish with a crystal bowl sound bath to take us into deep relaxation.
The space will stay open at the end, with a light snack to share this is optional,
