Highlits incude -
Averbury Henge and Stone Circles. The outer Sone Circle is the largest Stone Circle in the world.
Silbury Hill - Mysterious Silbury Hill is the largest man made monolith in Europe.
West Kennet Avenue or the Avenue of Stones, once a 1 1/2 mile long avenue of of over a 100 Standing Stones.
West Kennet Long Barrow - Built around 3,500 BC, one of largest, impressive and most accessible Neolithic burial chambers in Britain.
We will also visit the sie of an enormous Wood Henge.
We will then walk back along the 'Ridgeway', Britain's oldest long distance footpath and Pilgrimage route.
Bring layers and food for lunchbreak.
This walk will be slower than usual due to the amount of sites we will be visiting.
