Annika Zee is a multimedia artist and musician born and raised in Toronto. She studied at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music in New York. Zee's production style draws from a discerning palette of sound that melds the possibilities of real and digital instruments, incorporating elements of noise, experiment in sound design, and classic songwriting. Zee's work has been featured in i-D Magazine, The Fader, Wonderland, and more. Zee has scored music for Comedy Central's show Broad City, Chan Zuckerberg, American Eagle, and Anna Sui. Zee released her fourth album Magnolia in November 2024 with Absurd Trax partially recorded in London, England with Will Smith at Jamie **'s studio.
17sport is an emerging electronica duo formed of Iris Lou Dune, 22, and Delphine Vise, 21, two multidisciplinary artists from Montreal. As 17sport, we assume the dual roles of musicians and producers. Our sound universe is created using Garageband and is made completely independently. Distortion and sound transformation are at the heart of our process. We use loop pedals to modulate and layer our vocals, a sampler to structure our tracks, and traditional instruments such as guitars, keyboards, basses, and microphones, enhanced with effects pedals. Through 17sport, we cultivate the belief that anything is possible. Our aesthetic universe is inspired by dreams, the imagination of video games, popular culture, advertising, and the codes of the star system.
