About this Event
Roll up your sleeves and get creative with clay! In this hands-on ceramics class, students will explore fun handbuilding techniques to shape, mold, and design their own unique creations. Throughout the winter session, they’ll experiment with different ways of building and decorating their work as they develop confidence working with clay.
After the school day ends, students will head to After School for a snack before being brought to the art building for ceramics. At the end of class, they’ll return to After School, where families can pick them up.
The class meets six times — January 26, February 2, 9, and 23, and March 2 and 9 — from 3:45–5:15 PM. (No class on Febuary 16.)
All materials are included, and finished work will be delivered to classroom teachers once it is fired and ready.
