Join us as Donna Tatting, a 20-year University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener, teaches us about winter seed sowing! This class is perfect for gardeners of all experience levels and is a great way to get kids interested in gardening! You will learn the basics of winter sowing, we will walk you through each step, so you feel confident trying it at home. After the lesson, you will get to create your own seed sowing “greenhouse” to take home with you. All supplies are provided. This seed sowing method allows us to get a head start on a garden during the winter months and has been around for many years. Come ready to learn, plant, and enjoy a cozy winter gardening activity!Class fee is $10+tax, price includes a hands-on winter sown garden.
