Spend a cozy evening learning to paint with watercolors! Taught by local Wakefield artist Mary Taggart, you'll learn techniques to paint a lovely winter scene with a detailed foreground and background.
Mary will guide you through brief introduction followed by several exercises where everyone will try out several watercolor techniques on a sample page.
Then students will proceed to the painting itself, discussing composition and object placement. Students will then make a simple drawing and begin to lay in color, experimenting with the various techniques.
Cost per student includes instruction, watercolor paper and your own watercolor paint set and brush to take home and continue practicing.
*Please note this class takes place on the second floor of our building and requires going up a flight of stairs. All ticket sales are final, but may be transferred to someone else after purchase.
