Join us for “O GREAT MYSTERY…” an inspiring choral concert this Winter on Friday January 9th 2026 at 7pm. Featuring timeless sacred music from Advent & Christmas. This is a great festive way to wrap up the Christmas Season!Did you know? The theme for our concert comes from one of the most iconic pieces of choral music composed for Christmas entitled O Magnum Mysterium which translates into “O great mystery, and wonderful sacrament, that animals should see the newborn Lord, lying in a manger! O blessed virgin, whose womb was worthy to bear the Lord Jesus Christ. Alleluia!”. There are many musical settings of this text but one of the most famous is by Spanish Renaissance composer Fr. Tomás Luis de Victoria, which will be featured in our concert! Mark your calendars and come experience this glorious music in one of Marquette’s historical landmarks, our beautiful Saint Peter Cathedral! Merry Christmas!
