A day of calm and nurture for frazzled mothers and others...
This winter retreat invites you to slow down, reconnect with your bodies, and embrace the calming rhythms of nature; guided by practices focussing on relaxation, resilience, and inner strength. As well as nurture on the day, you'll leave with some practical tools to help you stay centred during December's festivities and busy-ness.
There's always both a pull towards quiet and calm and a lot going on during December. We quite often carry the 'mental load' for the family and have many more things to juggle than usual once nativities, gifts, xmas parties, concerts and travel plans get layered into already busy lives. Our own self-care is often the thing that drops down the list of priorities.
In this day retreat I've brought together some of the main tools for tired times that help stressed-out women find calm, energy and balance. The morning session will focus on pelvic wellbeing. It's suitable for you whether or not you have any particular issues at the moment as it focusses on awareness, breath and gentle, simple movements that can be added to the everyday - suitable for all ages and stages including pregnancy, postpartum and perimenopause.
The afternoon will be leaning into practices for deep rest, nature connection and wintering.
