About this Event
Veggielution's Farm Team grows all the produce on our 6 acre farm with the help of volunteers, and activities range from weeding to planting to harvesting and everything in between!
This coming week we will reset our fields for winter. We will be seeding cover crops and enclosing the fields in netting.
If you'd like to feel more connected to the land, get your hands dirty and help grow food for your community sign up and join us for a Field Day! No prior experience necessary, we'll show you everything you need to know.
All volunteers must sign-in upon arriving to the farm, which includes a liability waiver. You must be age 13 or older to volunteer on the farm. Middle and High School students, ages 13 to 17, MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian/chaperone.
Note on Weather: In the event we need to cancel a volunteer event due to extreme weather, we will notify you via email, otherwise please assume we will hold volunteer events rain or shine, and dress accordingly.
Note on Volunteer Hours: We are happy to sign off on hours if you need them, however, we ask that you please provide your own form or letter for us to sign. Veggielution staff will only sign-off on hours if a form is provided at time of volunteering.
